Muzeul Trovantilor : Rocce viventi – Living stones

In Romania, a circa 35 km da Ramnicu Valcea, in direzione Targu Jiu - non lontano da dove il grande scultore Brancusi è nato - si trova uno dei musei più interessanti della Romania, Il Muzeul Trovantilor ed è una tappa obbligata per un visitatore della Romania. Il "curatore" del museo è KOGAYON ASSOCIAZIONE e sono protetti dall'UNESCO. Le esposizioni sono una raccolta di alcune pietre moltostrane, formate circa 6 milioni di anni prima in una stratificazione di sabbia cementata dalle acque calcaree chiamate "le pietre vive" o "le pietre che crescono da sole. Queste pietre possono essere considerate “vive“, in quanto entrando in contatto con l’acqua, sono in grado di riprodursi e di crescere, come un essere vivente biologico ad esempio  dopo uno pioggia molto intensa, una struttura di 6-8 millimetri, può arrivare fino a 6-10 metri di diametro

In Romania, at about 35 km from Ramnicu Valcea, going towards Targu Jiu – not far from where the great sculptor Brancusi was born – is located one of the most interesting museum of Romania, The Romanian Trovants Museum Natural Reserve. The exhibits are a collection of some beautifully strange stones, supposed to be formed about 6 million years before in a sand stratification cemented by the limestone waters. Once you have gotten there you are overwhelmed by the multitude of shapes of these stones that seem to be carved by a very skillful and gifted sculptor.  They are called “the living stones” or “the stones that are growing by themselves”.  The museum is known as “Muzeul Trovantilor” and it is a must see for a visitor of Romania. The “curator” of the museum is  KOGAYON ASSOCIATION and they are protected by UNESCO.
